There is no doubt it’s been a wild and chaotic time. I feel like my head’s been spinning with all the changes happening literally on the hour. But, on a more positive note, there are some good things that have happened this week that I want to share with you all in today’s Friday 5.

1 // Apple AirPods Pro

I finally took the plunge and bought AirPods. I have been so skeptical of them ever since they came out. But, since they released the AirPods Pro, I’ve been more intrigued to try them. So, I bought a pair. And, let me tell you, they live up to the hype.

2 // Schitt’s Creek

I know I’m late to the party, but I finally started watching Schitt’s Creek. It’s so good! I really only have the attention span for a sitcom-length show, so it was a perfect fit. If you haven’t given it a shot, I highly recommend it.

3 // Handlettering with Llama Letters

If I’m going to be honest, handlettering is probably the one “artsy” activity that I’m good at. So, I decided to start from the fundamentals and really hone my skills. Cindy Guentert-Baldo (aka Llama Letters) has established herself in the world of handlettering/art/bullet journaling for quite some time. On her YouTube channel, she has a series of video tutorials when it comes to lettering. So I picked up a pen and started. I also picked up her new book, Cute Hand Lettering.

4 // Cheap airfare

While the travel industry is taking a hit, it’s making airfare very inexpensive. So, I took advantage for an upcoming trip I’m taking to NYC and Maine in the summer. Hence, I was able to get roundtrip airfare from Denver to NYC for $236 on United economy WITH bags. Also, I did see an ad that Frontier is doing a buy-one-get-one free for college students on its Discount Den fares.

5 // Time blocking

I’ve been trying to figure out how much time certain tasks I take do, so I’ve been experimenting with time blocking in my GCal. This is especially key on the weekends when I want to balance everything and still have time to relax. I’ve been doing it, and I really like seeing how much time I spend doing tasks, which I can then adjust going forwad.
