In the last few months, I’ve been on a major skincare kick, wanting to try out a bunch of new products that I’ve heard about from influencers I follow on social media. And, let me say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love using some of these products!
So, today, I want to share some of my recent skincare favorites that I’ve been loving lately.
1 // Sephora Collection Glow Peel Pads
I initially wanted to get another brand of these but they didn’t have it at Sephora, so I settled on the ones from Sephora Collection. These are amazing if you want just a quick refresh on your skin. They come out of the container feeling cold, which makes your skin feel amazing. I use these in the morning instead of washing my face to avoid over-washing my face and drying out my skin. I layer it with a vitamin-c serum, eye cream, and moisturizer.
2 // Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
A few years ago, I got really into hydrating masks, especially since I live in a really dry climate. I just finished one I had from Avenè and needed a new one. I heard really good things about the Summer Fridays Jet Leg mask, and I can’t even begin to tell you how good this mask is. It’s super hydrating and makes your skin feel amazing. The full size is a bit pricy, but the travel size is perfect since a little goes a long way.
3 // The Ordinary Retinol
I wanted to get back into the swing of adding retinol into my evening skincare routine. I have always wanted to try The Ordinary, so when I saw that it had retinol, I wanted to try it. And it was only $6, so it was a major win since retinol is typically quite expensive. This one is great! It’s pure retinol so it doesn’t break me out while also being super moisturizing since it is in more of a serum consistency.
4 // Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment
I think I may have mentioned this in a favorites post a while back, but I’ve really been loving this cream, especially since I’m not wearing a lot of makeup these days. It eliminates any redness I have on my skin, making for a rather flawless canvas. The downside is that the jar is quite expensive; however, it lasts for a long time!
5 // First Aid Beauty UltraRepair Tinted Moisturizer
I am always in need of a good tinted moisturizer for days where I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup. I haven’t found my “holy grail” one yet, but this First Aid Beauty one is near the top of the list. It’s very dewy but also offers pretty good coverage. It feels lightweight on your skin so even if you are in the heat, it doesn’t feel like it’s sliding off your face. Plus, it’s certified clean at Sephora.
